Ian Wright has revealed the real reason he quit BBC's Match of the Day after 27 years.

'I'll be watching a lot more women's matches at Borehamwood. I'm going to watch a lot more Arsenal games, just to be there, just to be there with the fans.
“Go with my son and his wife – just go and be with them and be there, just to celebrate when we win or lose.
“And spend some more time with my wife, Nance, because she has so much to do in a weekend with the two girls who are reaching a certain age where they have to be everywhere.
“So I just want to be there a little more.”

Wright added on his Wrighty's House podcast: 'It was a bit of a realization because there are so many cool things happening and I just want to give it some quality time.
“So that's what I want to do. I just want to do things that involve watching games and spending time with people.
