Chanel is likely to be chuffed after claiming she was fired from Tina: The Tina Turner Musical in London last year after taking the opportunity to sing Gimme Shelter with the rockers in Italy.

A source said The sun: 'The Stones had a very close relationship with Tina and Chanel blew them away when she came on stage with them.

'She ended up losing her job in production because she didn't want to miss the huge opportunity to sing live with The Stones.

'Chanel has now been booked as one of their backing singers and will tour America with them in the spring.

“It means a lot to her and the band was happy to be able to help her.”

Before performing Gimme Shelter with the Rolling Stones in Milan, Chanel rehearsed the 1969 song only once.

After singing to 60,000 fans at the city's San Siro stadium in June last year, she said Rolling stone: 'The sound they made was like trees in a jungle during a storm. It's primal, like a war.

'When that hit my body, all those voices, all those eyes shot into my body.
