Chris Eubank Jr. has slammed his promoter on social media for going behind his back to set up his next fight without his approval.
Eubank Jr has been working with Kalle and Nisse Sauerland's promotional company Wasserman in recent times, and they have been working to plan the middleweight prospect's return to the ring following his knockout victory over Liam Smith in September.
It looked like Eubank Jr would finally face Conor Benn in a grudge match, just over a year after their fight was canceled when Benn failed two drug tests.
However, the talks collapsed earlier this week, leaving Eubank Jr. was forced to look elsewhere.
Kalle Sauerland stated that his fighter could now attempt to take on little-known IBO champion Etinosa Oliha, but Eubank Jr appears baffled by this suggestion, claiming on Saturday morning that he had been left in the dark by his promoter after thinking he had agreed to it. face WBO and IBF champion Janibek Alimkhanuly.

'I went to sleep after agreeing to fight Janibek for world titles… I woke up and now my promoter @sauerlandbros is trying to get me to fight Etinosa Oliha, a boxer no one has heard of… @wassermanboxing how and why?' asked a confused Eubank Jr. on X.
Oliha is undefeated in 19 fights as a professional, but has never fought outside Italy and Germany and has no significant victories to his name.
Since July he has held the IBO belt, although this is not generally recognized as a full-fledged world title.
Eubank Jr previously won the IBO super-middleweight title by beating Australian Renold Quinlan in 2017 and is apparently not interested in returning to old ground.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's Janibek is rated by The Ring Magazine as the No. 1 middleweight in the world, having won 10 of his 15 fights by knockout.
The 30-year-old left-hander already has two wins over the British in Danny Dignum and Denzel Bentley, and he could get the chance to beat a third if Eubank Jr. can convince his promoter to take the fight.
But after Eubank Jr's tirade, it appears he will have to align himself with the Sauerlands first as they plan his next career move.
Eubank Jr lost his only other world title shot against domestic rival George Groves in 2018.
