From the throwback music to Kim's positioning – stretched across the floor in old-school pin-up style – the promo had all the hallmarks of a bygone era.
The commercial even had slightly blurry picture and sound quality, giving the proceedings an added patina of retro glamour.
True to form, Kim was decked out in a flesh-colored peek-a-boo silk number that put her sculpted midriff on full display.
Her SKIMS outfit featured a plunging neckline and was perfectly cut to highlight her hourglass frame as she captured the camera's gaze.

“For New Year's Eve, nothing feels better than SKIMS,” Kim cooed in an impressive approximation of the advertising language of the time.
