A rollercoaster ride in Japan turned into a nightmare after it broke down at 150 feet – while upside down.
Terrifying footage shows 32 passengers dangling upside down after the Flying Dinosaur roller coaster at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka broke down mid-ride today.
The amusement park said the crowded ride made an emergency stop this morning around 10:55 a.m. halfway through the 3,700-foot ride – at its peak elevation of 500 feet.
Video shows the terrified thrill-seekers trapped upside down in the Jurassic Park-inspired ride, as panicked guests looked up at the scene in horror.
Universal Studios Japan said all occupants were rescued by staff and taken down an emergency staircase, reports said Asahi Newspaper.
The evacuation took about 45 minutes, staff said, adding that there were no injuries and no one felt unwell.

The amusement park said the crowded ride made an emergency stop this morning around 10:55 a.m. halfway through the 1,100-meter ride – at its peak height of 45 meters.
The amusement park told Nikkei newspaper: “A sensor that detects anomalies was activated and the system stopped.”
After an hour and a half of testing, the engineers said the ride was safe and allowed other brave thrill-seekers on board. The operating company says that the exact cause of the malfunction is not known.
The Flying Dinosaur is a roller coaster based on the movie 'Jurassic Park' in which the passengers hang in the air before a dinosaur flies through the air with them.
The attraction, which was set up in 2016, has suffered a series of incidents in recent years where the roller coaster had to make an emergency stop while passengers were still on board.
In May 2018, 64 passengers were left dangling face down on the roller coaster for up to two hours while hanging 100 feet above the ground.

The thrill seekers were halfway through the Flying Dinosaur ride when the roller coaster stopped. According to the amusement park, the two carriages stopped halfway through the ride.
As with today's incident, all riders were safely evacuated with no injuries reported.
Universal Studios Japan attracts an average of more than ten million visitors per year.
It is one of four Universal Studios theme parks in the world and features select Universal Orlando Resort attractions such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
