Tiffany Haddish is set to release a tell-all book – I Curse You With Joy – after a turbulent year that saw her arrested for a second time for drink-driving.

The actress, 44, will release the book – touted as 'a journey of self-discovery and celebration' and promising to showcase 'the good, the bad, the ugly and of course the funny' on May 7, 2024.

The star was arrested for drink driving in Beverly Hills last month – after police found the Hollywood comedienne asleep behind the wheel of her car while it was still running.

This is a second DUI arrest for the star who was found sleeping in her car in Georgia in January 2022.

In the tome, Haddish details her childhood trauma, including the “bittersweet” reunion she had with her estranged father after 20 years apart.

The star will also explore the challenges of being a black woman in the entertainment industry and her roles in films such as Haunted Mansion and Girls Trip.

This comes after it emerged that Haddish will reportedly have to stop drinking and undergo random drug tests after she was arrested last month for her second DUI in less than two years.

In documents obtained by RadarOnline.comThe star was reportedly ordered by a judge in Georgia last week to abstain from alcohol and consuming illegal drugs.

According to the publication, the “decision came after prosecutors asked the court to modify Haddish's terms” following her recent arrest in Beverly Hills, California on suspicion of driving under the influence.

In their motion, prosecutors informed the court that “Haddish was arrested on November 24, 2023.”

Police found the actress asleep behind the wheel of her car in the middle of the busy Beverly Drive street while it was still moving.

Haddish allegedly “fell over the steering wheel while the car was moving,” police said TMZ.

After her latest run-in with the law, prosecutors reportedly “requested that Haddish's bond be modified to include a provision requiring Haddish not to drink and to be drug tested.”

However, the order allows her to use prescription drugs “within the therapeutic limit.”
