Former NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant has given some interesting and somewhat unexpected advice to the Tennessee Titans' starting sensation at quarterback.

After coming from behind to beat the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football, Bryant spoke out with Will Levis on Twitter.

The curator suggested that Levis continue to focus on his career on the field and not return to his now ex-girlfriend Gia Duddy.

“I'm sitting here watching the Dolphins vs Titans recap. Then I randomly thought of Will Levis Draft day!,” Bryant posted on the social media site.

“If you think about it, don't take your ex-girlfriend back, bro,” Bryant added.

“She got messages of support sitting next to you on draft night, I remember. She wasted no time in making herself the priority after going viral.

'You have the opportunity to become a franchise QB, make it a priority! Great win champion!'

Levis put together two crucial touchdown drives to become the first team this century to come back from 14 points down in the final three minutes.

“It's great, I'm excited,” Levis said after the game. “We're going to have a nice (plane) ride home.”

Levis notably fell onto the board during this year's NFL Draft, ultimately being picked in the second round by the Titans after being projected to be taken in the first round.

By his side was Duddy – a Penn State graduate and influencer – who went viral and led to her landing multiple brand deals.

“She just signed a Burger King deal,” Levis told Barstool Sports' “The Mid Show” in July.

“It's crazy, I was like, 'You're paying for lunch.'”

Rumors of a rift between the two began circulating around the start of the NFL season.

But in October the site TMSPN reported that the two are 'indeed on good terms again'.

Levis took over as QB after an injury to Ryan Tannehill and has thrown for nearly 1,600 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions.
