Terrifying moment family is targeted in road rage attack as driver pelts objects at their car on a Queensland highway
Footage has captured a terrifying road rage incident after a motorist and passenger threw objects at a car with a family inside on a major highway.
The shocking incident happened along the Pacific Highway in Queensland after 10am on Tuesday.
Dashcam video captured the moment a driver and his passenger in a silver Mazda began throwing objects at the car in front of them.
It appears that the objects are missing the rear of the vehicle.
The driver of the car was then seen veering dangerously into the right lane before the male passenger, who was shirtless, appeared to gesture to the other motorist.

A few minutes later, the Mazda was seen overtaking several vehicles before taking off.
The driver with the family insider's car shared the video of the incident on Facebook and warned other motorists to be careful.
“Watch out for this couple, I had my four year old in the car when this happened,” the motorist wrote.
The road rage incident is said to have started at a roundabout in Eagleby, about 34 kilometers south-east of Brisbane.
The family was attacked by the pair at an Ampol gas station nearby.
“They were behind me first and started yelling because I couldn't move forward because of oncoming cars…” the motorist said.
The motorist noticed that the driver of the Mazda became impatient before the car entered the roundabout.
The two vehicles then crossed paths while traveling southbound on the highway.
The driver of the Mazda was reported to the police, but the license plate of the vehicle and the car were not found in their system.
