Steph Claire Smith has revealed the unlikely benefits of cutting her long hair into a bob.
The fitness guru, 29, let loose her signature blonde mane for the first time in her adult life last week, following in the footsteps of fellow Australian influencers Tammy Hembrow, Ella Ding and Melissa Leong.
Steph reflected on her new 'do during this week's episode Keep it cleaner podcasttells her co-host Laura Henshaw that shorter hair has helped her sex life with husband Josh Miller.
“Honestly, we probably had the best sex we've ever had recently,” Steph admitted.
Steph, who has been in a relationship with Josh for almost 12 years, said their time in the bedroom has improved because she “feels a little different” with her new look.

Another benefit of getting a bob, Steph explained, is that Josh no longer has to deal with hair in his face when they cuddle.
“I think it's great because he's getting closer now. Whereas before he would randomly push my hair under my neck or push it up at the top of the pillow.”
Other benefits mentioned by Steph include being able to shower and get her hair wet without washing it, and being able to “wear hoodies without her hair getting tangled in the back.”

The model also raved about the ability to carry a handbag without her hair getting stuck under the belt, describing this as a “game changer.”
Steph debuted her dramatic hair transformation via Instagram last Tuesday, uploading a video montage of herself before and after a visit to the hairdresser.
“I'm obsessed,” she captioned the images, before thanking her hairstylist and salon.
Steph is best known as the face of her multi-million dollar fitness empire Keep It Cleaner.
She married Josh Miller in 2019 and they have one child, son Harvey, born in 2021.
