It seems that young people have been advising their parents to 'do the right thing' in recent years, as in 2017 it was revealed that one in three children have had to ask their parents to stop constantly checking their mobile phone.

A poll found that a third of young people thought their parents were bad role models who continued to look at phones and tablets – even when their children asked them not to.
