Brock Lesnar’s daughter went viral as a record-breaking athlete but many WWE Attitude Era stars – including The Rock, Mick Foley and Rey Mysterio – also have girls who are enjoying success in and out of the ring

It's not often that WWE legends are outdone by the achievements of their children, but as we saw this week with the Lesnar family, anything is possible.

On Wednesday, Brock Lesnar's daughter – Mya Lynn Lesnar – went viral on social media after breaking her college shot put record.

The 21-year-old, Colorado State athlete, broke the previous record with her impressive effort of 18.50 meters.

After Lesnar went viral – both for her record attempt and her resemblance to her father – the question arises as to what some of the other daughters of WWE legends are up to.

And so here, Mail Sport looks at the successful careers of the daughters of WWE icons.

The stone

For those who don't know, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was an in-ring superstar before leaving the WWE in 2004 and returning as a part-time performer in 2011.

While fans may have hoped that 'The Rock' would stick around longer, their prayers were answered when his daughter – Simone Johnson – joined the WWE in February 2020.

It wasn't until an episode of NXT – the brand she currently fights under – in October 2022 that fans were treated to her first television appearance.

She debuted under the ring name 'Ava Raine', but later shortened it to 'Ava' in February this year.

She eventually made her NXT in-ring debut in June, defeated by Ivy Nile. I'm sure her father was proud.

Triple H

Paul Michael Levesque (or Triple H) may have ended his wrestling career to become head of WWE's creative department, but that hasn't stopped his daughters from continuing his legacy.

Levesque and Stephanie McMahon have three daughters and their eldest, Aurora Rose, has started training to become a wrestler as well.

McMahon told talkSPORT in 2021: 'We have three daughters, Triple H and I, they are 15, 13 and 11. Our eldest said when she was eight years old, 'Mommy, I don't want your job. Dad, I don't want your job. I want Pop's [Vince McMahon] function.

β€œSo just like her grandfather, she wants to be in charge, so we'll see what happens with my eldest daughter who has already started training in the ring.

'My youngest daughter is also very interested, but for her it's about personality [laughs]. Oh my god, I can't wait to see what she does next.'

Rick Flair

Perhaps the best performing name on this list is Charlotte Flair.

Daughter of Ric Flair – one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time – Charlotte Flair is a multiple world champion and one of today's biggest stars.

Flair made her first appearance in professional wrestling at the age of seven alongside her father in the 1993 World Championship Wrestling and today can be seen wrestling on the SmackDown brand.

She has collected a number of accolades in her career, including in 2016 when Pro Wrestling Illustrated readers voted Flair Woman of the Year and Top Female Professional Wrestler.

Mick Foley

Noelle Foley, daughter of WWE legend Mick, planned to follow in her father's footsteps but was forced to retire after suffering a serious concussion.

Foley has since undergone stem cell treatment earlier this year in response to the damage caused.

She has made television appearances on WWE RAW, Ring in the Holiday, Wrestling with Wregret and many other shows.

According to her Instagram, where she has 1 million followers, in addition to acting, she is a lover of pop culture, travel and food.

Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio's daughter, Aalyah, is another one who is interested in pro wrestling but has plenty on her plate to deal with.

As it stands, Mysterio's daughter is currently finishing medical school – despite making multiple television appearances with the WWE.

And Mysterio also recently revealed whether his daughter is seriously considering taking up wrestling.

During The MMA Hour, Mysterio said, β€œIt's scary when she does that because she might like it. She has never set foot in the ring.

β€œFor some reason it didn't happen and I think this is just a sign from God saying don't let her get there because she will like it.

Brock Lesnar

Finally we come to Brock Lesnar and his daughter Mya Lynn.

The 21-year-old went viral on social media after breaking the shot put record at her university, before fans commented on her resemblance to her father.

Go to her Instagram page she wrote: 'A new PR and a new school record!! Happy with a strong start to my season'.

For many fans of Brock Lesnar, this may be the first time they've heard of Mya Lynn's sporting success – which was evident by the way many responded online.

Social media users were stunned by the resemblance between the two Lesnar stars and took to various platforms to express it.

β€œThat's 100% Brock's daughter! That's amazing, congratulations to her,” one user said.

Another user bluntly said, “She looks just like him.”
