Only, at least for now, there is a problem that allows you to fix (well, 'fix') everything for free.

How to fix items in Lego Fortnite with a problem

First you need one small chest (6 planks) – meaning you have a sawmill set up. Build your small chest and place all your damaged tools and weapons inside.

Then exit the chest menu and crush the chest with your hands. It only takes three punches to destroy. And that's it!

Destroying the chest will drop the materials you used to create it and all its contents. When you pick them up, all items are fully perishable again. This works on your own items as well as on tools and weapons you pick up from skeletons or enemies.
