Fans slam Wonka as they spot epic Photoshop fail in film poster: ‘How is he standing and sitting at the same time?’
Moviegoers have criticized the new Wonka movie poster for pointing out what they say is an epic Photoshop fail.
Fans believe that 27-year-old Timothée Chalamet, starring a younger incarnation of the chocolatier, was edited into the poster in two parts.
One sheet shows Timothée's Wonka sitting, but X users think the top half of the star is a photo of him standing, edited over a photo of him sitting.
Although the film has been a hit so far and critics are excited about the new release, moviegoers say they won't be able to watch the shaky ad again.

Another fan wrote: 'It's incredibly funny that there's a huge billboard for Wonka on the side of a building near my Timothée Chalamet house, but it's so obvious that the photo was shot standing up and they photoshopped his legs to to make it look like he was sitting. '
A third said: 'I love the concept but the photoshop work could have been… better.'
One added: “They must have typed 'Wonka sitting on a wooden stool with a Hugh Grant Oompa Loompa' into the AI engine.”
Another commented: 'How does he stand and sit at the same time?'
MailOnline has contacted WarnerBros for comment.
The shaky Photoshop claims came after Timothée was praised by critics for his “charming, perfect performance” as Willy Wonka.
“#Wonka is a super-charming delight, powered by an exceptional and pitch-perfect performance from Timothée Chalamet,” wrote Collider senior producer Perri Nemiroff.
'It can get quite strange and there are a few plot points that are a bit on the thin side, but that couldn't prevent such an impossibly sweet film from warming my heart with a large and very effective dose of sincerity.'
Gizmodo senior reporter Germain Lussier wrote that the 27-year-old Oscar nominee was “the only reason to see” Paul King's $125 million musical fantasy.
Although the film was a hit at the box office and critics raved about the new release, movie buffs say they won't be able to see the silly ad again.
“He is endlessly charming (and) wonderful to watch,” Lussier tweeted.
Willy Wonka's origin story – based on Roald Dahl's 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – hits UK theaters on December 8 and US theaters on December 15.
Wonka also stars Keegan-Michael Key, Matt Lucas, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Olivia Colman, Hugh Grant and newcomer Calah Lane.
Chalamet earned $9 million to play the titular character after beating out Tom Holland, Donald Glover, Ezra Miller and Ryan Gosling for the role.
The eccentric genius, who took pleasure in punishing naughty children, was memorably created by Gene Wilder in Mel Stuart's beloved 1971 classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
On Tuesday, Kylie Jenner's boyfriend braved the 40 degree Celsius weather in London in a berry-coloured velvet Tom Ford SS/24 women's shirtless suit for the Wonka premiere at the Royal Festival Hall.
Timothée – who styles himself – accessorized his pantsuit with square-toe Chelsea boots and a custom Cartier choker with 964 emeralds, rubellites, pink tourmalines and blue opals.
