When will Solid Snake be released in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1?

Sturdy hosestar of the Metal Gear series and owner of a controversial nerf, a special battle pass skin is in Fortnite' Chapter 5 Season 1.

However, this skin is exclusive to the Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass and will not be available in Fortnite until the mid-season update. Here's when it arrives and what to expect.

Fortnite Solid Snake Release Date

According to the in-game countdown, the Solid Snake skin is scheduled to release 50 days after the release of Chapter 5 Season 1. has a release date of January 23, 2024.

However, please note that the release date for midseason Battle Pass skins sometimes changes based on patches, so the Solid Snake skin may change Fortnite a few days before or after January 23, 2024.

Once the Solid Snake skin becomes available in Fortniteyou can unlock it until the season ends at 2:00 AM ET on March 8, 2024. At the time of writing, it's unclear what the requirements are for unlocking Solid Snake in the Battle Pass.

According to Fortnite content creator iFireMonkey, Solid Snake also comes with additional styles and cosmetics. While developer Epic Games hasn't publicly revealed the range of cosmetic options for Solid Snake, you can get a sneak peek via iFireMonkey's post on Twitter/X:

Solid Snake's cosmetic options include a combat knife, tactical drones, and his signature night vision goggles. There is also an Old Snake style (with eye patch, of course). It is still unclear what the requirements for these cosmetic options will be.
