Luka Doncic added another milestone to his already impressive NBA career on Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz.

Not only did the 24-year-old point guard score a triple-double before halftime, but he also recorded the NBA's first-ever 25-point triple-double in two quarters.

Doncic scored 29 points along with ten rebounds and ten assists in the first half and finished the game with 40 points, ten rebounds and 11 assists as the Mavericks steamrolled the Jazz, 147-97.

Doncic achieved this incredible feat in the first half, while shooting 62 percent efficiently from the field and 66 percent from the three-point line.

In his fifth season in the NBA, Doncic is currently averaging 31.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 8.4 assists while shooting just under 50 percent from the field. Doncic is second in the NBA in points per game, behind reigning MVP Joel Embiid (33.1).

Wednesday's game was Doncic's second highest scoring game this season, following a 44-point performance in a 144-126 win over the LA Clippers on November 10.

The Slovenian native's scoring and overall basketball skills have been on full display since he was named the Mavericks' franchise player in 2018. Last December, Doncic became the first player in NBA history to record a triple-double of 60 points and 20 rebounds (60 points) noted. , 21 rebounds and 10 assists) in a comeback win over the New York Knicks.
