The Kansas City Chiefs lost for Taylor Swift for the first time this season, falling to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday Night Football.

Star tight end Travis Kelce picked up four catches for 81 yards on a slow night for the Kansas City offense.

Just a few days later, Kelce reflected on the game on an episode of his “New Heights” podcast with brother Jason Kelce.

“It's just hats off to the Packers, they performed better than us,” Travis said. 'We were in the game, from start to finish. It didn't end the way we wanted, but we still had a chance to tie it up there at the end and go to OT.

“But after two possessions in the first half, the Packers did a great job of controlling the clock. But I thought we played damn well.

“In terms of moving the ball, we had a 13-play drive and a 14-play drive, both of which ended in points. But getting to the five-yard line and settling for a field goal is the difference between 14-6 and 14-14 going into the third quarter.”

Travis then added that games like these are just part of the game – and that small defeats can lead to better results.

“There's going to be times in the year where you're going to be challenged more than ever, man, and I think you've got to be able to grow through that,” Travis explained.

“And that goes back to what you guys are talking about in Philadelphia, when it comes to the culture. I'm not worried about how everyone played, I think we have a lot of great character guys in this building who care and want to be fixed.

“And we're going to fix it. I never doubted that.'

He added: “I'm excited to get back out there and practice tomorrow. I'm willing to bring the juice, bring the energy and help build the culture that we have.”

The Chiefs will have their work cut out for them when they host the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
