GTA 6 trailer revealed by Rockstar Games with 2025 release date
Finally, Rockstar Games has unveiled the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto622 months after the developer officially announced the game's development – and notably, a day earlier than the reveal was supposed to take place.
Fans have finally gotten their first official glimpse of the game's protagonist, Lucia, and the classic fan favorite GTA location, Vice City, in complete unadulterated and glorious detail.
Last published in GTA: Vice City Stories (first released in 2006), Vice City seems a million miles away from when it hit the market PSPPS2 and PS3, and it's sure to be a treat for new and long-time nostalgic fans alike. You can take a look below.
Even before this trailer is revealed, GTA6 has retained its position as one of the most exciting upcoming matches for almost two years. Rock star first confirmed that “active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway” in February 2022. After that, the official news was radio silent until November 2023, when the developer stated that the first trailer would be shown in early Decemberwhich brings us to today – a day earlier than the trailer was set to air.
Why the early reveal? Earlier this evening, the trailer was leaked via an anonymous account on social media. In response, Rockstar Games tweeted: “Our trailer has been leaked, so check out the real thing on YouTube.”
Now all that's left is for the fans to wait GTA6 letting go. It will launch sometime in 2025, so we'll have to wait a while before it actually releases, and we still don't know which platforms it will be available on. For now, we just have to stay informed.
