Norwegian swimmer Ingeborg Løyning has officially confirmed her romantic relationship with Australian swimmer Kyle Chalmers.
The backstroker revealed they were a couple to the Norwegian news channel Television 2.
To be closer to Chalmers and to prepare together for the upcoming Olympic Games, Løyning has made a life-changing move to Adelaide.
The Australian freestyle champion previously dated Olympic superstar Emma McKeon, who is now dating Australian swimmer Cody Simpson.
Chalmers faced controversy at the world championships when he reversed his decision to skip Budapest, reportedly denying Simpson a place on the team.
The story persisted through the Commonwealth Games, where all three swimmers competed for Australia, and Chalmers showed emotional distress, including tears, in the lead-up to his 100m freestyle race.
But Chalmers is all smiles now, with his relationship with the glamorous Norwegian athlete in the public arena.

This revelation came as a surprise to many as the couple had chosen not to publicly reveal their relationship until now.
Løyning said one of the driving factors behind her decision to move to Australia was to be with Chalmers, saying: “That's not the whole reason, but one of the reasons why I started training in Australia.”

In addition to her dedication to swimming, Løyning has pursued online studies in Adelaide, currently focusing on business economics and management.
