I tried Contour Clinic’s new skin treatment that promises a glowing complexion without needles or lasers – here’s my verdict on whether it’s worth the $250 price tag
A new ultra-luxe cosmetic clinic in an unassuming Sydney suburb is offering indulgent 'facial experiences' that are said to deliver instant rejuvenating results – without the use of needles or lasers.
If you run your fingers over your skin and feel blemishes and uneven texture, Contour clinic's recently launched Signature Facial could be the answer.
Although the cosmetic gurus are known for offering transformative non-surgical procedures such as fillers, cool sculpting and laser treatments, their facials are perfect for those who want impressive results without any discomfort.
The new Signature facial treatment is a steep $250, but works to deeply exfoliate, stimulate circulation and promote collagen for a smoother, softer texture, all while being pampered in a beautiful location.
The 'oxygen-rich' facial treatment is suitable for all skin types and ideal for people who suffer from a 'moody' or dull complexion or are prone to breakouts.
Contour Clinic's newly launched Signature Facial can help even out your complexion and make you glow
Instead of just treating the skin's surface, the facial goes deeper into the pores of your skin to remove toxins and dirt that makeup removers, cleansers, and toners can't reach.
The Signature Facial is a two-step process involving a peel and a mask.
First, the skin is prepared and lightly cleansed to ensure that the facial treatment ingredients are fully absorbed.
A fruit enzyme mask is then applied in combination with a deep thermal cleanser to deeply cleanse.
It removes things like dirt, oil, makeup residue, sebum, dead skin cells and other clogged culprits that block pores, revealing a brighter complexion.
A foaming Oxygenation Peel is then worked into the skin until the lather is rich and creamy before being gently soaked off.
The new Signature Facial only costs $250 but works to deeply exfoliate, stimulate circulation and promote collagen for a smoother, softer texture, all while pampering you
The final step is the hydrating peptide mask that is left on for 10 minutes to soothe and plump the skin.
The Signature Facial isn't the only facial treatment Contour Clinics offers for those looking to spend a little extra money and treat their skin.
There's the $300 Dermaplaning Facial, which works to brighten on a deeper level and leave your face feeling “silky soft.”
For $499, the China Doll Facial gives a porcelain-like complexion using an innovative laser treatment to target uneven skin tone, dull complexion, pigmentation, hormonal changes, acne and sun damage.
While all treatments are available for any age or gender, there is the specialized facial for him for $300.

I TRIED THE SIGNATURE FACIAL – IS IT WORTH THE PRICE?
I've never had a facial in my thirty-plus years on this planet, so when a generous invitation from Contour Clinics showed up in my inbox, I was eager to give it a try.
The brown brick building in Caste Hill doesn't look like much from the front, so I was impressed by the extremely stylish clinic I was greeted with when I entered.
Tenny, the senior skin and laser therapist, took care of me that day. She asked me about my skin concerns and told me about the process before I got started.
Tenny (pictured) is the senior skin and laser therapist and gave me the signature facial. I didn't know what she was doing, but it felt dreamy and I almost fell asleep
You're lying on the softest bed and you're even tucked in. It made it hard not to fall asleep, but Tenny assured me she didn't mind if I started snoring – she said this would mean I was in maximum relaxation.
I closed my eyes and let Tenny get to work, applying creams, cleansers, toners, masks and what not.
I didn't know what she was doing, but it felt dreamy and I almost fell asleep a few times.
The only discomfort was when Tenny removed a few blackheads around my nose, but honestly I was glad they were gone.
I'm lazy and erratic with my skincare routine and knowingly use products without any real rhyme or reason, so my skin felt luscious after such a thorough treatment.

I left the room feeling radiant, pampered and pampered before being treated to a cheeky glass of champagne in the heavenly waiting room to top it all off.
Although it was an experience I enjoyed throughout, I wondered if I would spend $250 to do it again.
But that could be due to my personal finances. If I get the chance again, I definitely wouldn't say no.
If the immediate results were noticeable after one treatment, I have no doubt that the long-term effects would be even better.
