Jose Mourinho SLAMS his Roma players in scathing critique after 1-1 draw to Servette in Europa League
- Roma took the lead through a goal from their striker Romelu Lukaku in the first half
- The draw now puts them second in Group G, two points behind Slavia Prague
- We expected perfection from the VAR, but we don't have it: listen to it It all starts
Jose Mourinho has slammed his 'slow' Roma players after their 1-1 draw against Servette in Geneva last night in the Europa League.
Mourinho's team took the lead in the first half through Romelu Lukaku, but Servette managed to push them back through Chris Bedia shortly after the break.
The point puts Roma second in Group G, two points behind Slavia Prague.
After the match, he spoke to Sky Sport Italia about summer signing and former Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
'I really don't understand. “I have played 150 matches in the Champions League that are much 'more important' than this one and my motivation for these matches is sky high,” Mourinho said.

'It seems that some people who don't have much European experience are playing these games a bit superficially.
'It's always the same guys who stay focused for 90 minutes and I don't have to mention them by name. Then there are people who have a somewhat superficial approach to these types of games.
'It's a shame we didn't have a camera in the dressing room at half-time, because I always hammer it in.
'I warn them not to go out in the second half against a team losing 1-0 at home.
'We were again superficial in our attitude, in our interpretation of this moment of the match.
'There are players who have once again missed an opportunity to prove themselves, for example Aouar.
“We took that moment of the match too lightly,” the former Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid manager added.

Servette – who are third in their group – drop to the Europa Conference League
If Roma finish second in the group, they will play in the play-offs against a team that drops out of the Champions League for a place in the round of 16.
“I don't think participating in the play-offs is a disaster,” Mourinho said.
'It will of course be difficult, but it is also motivating… we will experience another great European evening in a packed Olimpico.'
Roma will host Sheriff Tiraspol in their final group match on December 14, while third-placed Servette visit Prague before heading down to the Europa Conference League.
