Frankie Bridge turns back time as she recreates Geri Horner’s iconic BRITs dress and Elizabeth Hurley’s safety pin Versace gown in 90s fashion shoot
Frankie Bridge was a fashion chameleon through and through as she transformed into the most memorable moments of the ’90s in a new campaign.
The Saturday singer, 34, turned back time as she rocked a range of nostalgic outfits – from Geri Halliwell’s tea towel Union Jack dress that Ginger Spice wore to the BRIT Awards in 1997 to Elizabeth Hurley’s daring Versace safety pin dress.
Elizabeth, 58, wore the floor-length dress – held together by safety pins – to the premiere of Four Weddings In A Funeral with her then-boyfriend Hugh Grant.
Frankie took on the creative challenge to commemorate the return of two legendary fragrances from the 90s: Impulse O2 and Air.
For Geri, Frankie swapped her dark hair for a ginger wig and added a boost to her leggy frame with red latex platform heels.

Geri previously revealed how she came up with the patriotic design when she wanted to spruce up a plain black Gucci dress.
‘I remember this little black Gucci dress being loaned to me and they said, “You can wear this.” [at the awards].
‘I looked at it and thought it doesn’t mean much.
“I’ve always tried to put my finger to the wind and feel what’s going on in the moment, and if I feel it, you’ll feel it and we’ll connect it. So I thought, [it’s] The British, why not a British flag?’
Explaining how she came to alter the dress, she added: ‘I don’t know if this is true, but you’re not supposed to cut up a flag… so I found a tea towel. My sister did it, she could sew better than me.’
Meanwhile, Hugh previously spoke about Elizabeth’s original dress in a BBC documentary, revealing that she had only worn it because other fashion houses had refused to dress her that night as she was not very well known at the time.
He said: ‘Poor Elizabeth called some top designers and they all said, “No, who are you?” or “No, we won’t lend you anything”.’
‘Then Versace said, “Yes, we’ll lend you a dress,” and they only sent one, the one with the safety pins.

Frankie’s transformation into an iconic nineties look comes after a survey by Impulse found that Princess Diana’s revenge dress, Britney’s Hit Me Baby costume and Madonna’s cone bra were also among the top 15 most memorable outfits of the decade.
Frankie said: ‘Before I joined a pop group, I loved dressing up and performing as my favorite icons for my friends and family.
“I loved recreating some of my favorite pop culture memories. Impulse was always in my bag growing up and it immediately takes me back in time to the 90s.”
