The new suit will be available for the first time on Nintendo Switch on December 1 Batman: Arkham Trilogy officially launched on the portable console. The suit will then be available on other platforms such as PS4, Xbox One and PC at a later date. Unfortunately, there is no indication yet when this will be.
In a tweet Nintendo of America announced the good news alongside a short film trailer that took just over a minute. This video showed every fantastic angle of Arkham Knightincluding Mark Hamill’s iconic Joker and the gloomy and dark city of Gotham.
Nintendo of America’s tweet also included information about preorders. If you’re a die-hard fan of the Arkham trilogy, you can buy it for $59.99/£49.99 from the Nintendo Store. This will give you all three Arkham games, DLC and the latest suit all at once.
While it’s great to see this iconic series coming to Nintendo, this and the reveal of a new suit don’t come out of the blue. A few months ago, at the end of October, Robert Pattinson’s Batman suit unexpectedly appeared in the Epic Games store. While this isn’t the first update or new content the eight-year-old game has received, the addition was still surprising Arkham Knight haven’t received anything extra for a few years. However, any sign of life in an iconic but outdated game is still brilliant news, especially since it’s coming to a new platform in just a few days.
