Taylor Swift thanks fans for ‘unforgettable’ concerts as she wraps the 2023 Eras Tour dates: ‘I’m so grateful’

Taylor Swift wrote an emotional Instagram message to fans thanking them for their dedication as she celebrated the end of the 2023 Eras Tour.

Swift kicked off her sixth headlining tour in March with a North American leg that saw her perform 53 concerts in 18 states before heading south of the border for sold-out shows in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.

The weekend ended with back-to-back shows in São Paulo, after tragedy struck the week before when a 23-year-old fan died during the first of her three concerts in Rio de Janeiro amid a massive heatwave.

Swift will perform abroad for most of 2024 before concluding the tour in November with newly added dates in the United States.

“Taking a tour to Brazil is something I’ve dreamed of for years, and those fans have blown away my expectations,” the Anti-Hero singer began in a post shared on Tuesday.

‘We have officially completed the Eras Tour 2023 and we were able to end the year with six shows in Rio and São Paulo, with the most magical audience.’

The Eras Tour is a retrospective of Swift’s career spanning nearly twenty years and ten studio albums.

Each concert lasts three hours, during which Swift performs no fewer than 44 songs.

She announced last June that she would be touring for the first time in four years, ahead of the release of her tenth studio album Midnights (2022).

But oneThis infamous Ticketmaster debacle left many ‘Swifties’ without tickets and instead were snapped up by resellers.

The site had crashed and fans were booted out of the virtual queues.

Swift spoke out amid the chaos, telling her devout fanbase that she was just as “pissed off” as everyone else.

At first glance, ticket prices ranged between $49 and $499.

But on resale sites like StubHub and SeatGeek they were going for thousands of dollars.

SeatGeek told it American news in August that the average price of an Eras Tour resale ticket was $1,619.

The tour is predicted to earn the star a whopping $4.1 billion – the most any artist has ever earned from a single tour in history – according to the Washingtonpost.

Swift’s share of sales is estimated at the industry standard of 85 percent.

For those who missed out on tickets, Swift released a film version of the Eras Tour in theaters in October.

Earlier this month, CNBC reported that the Eras Tour concert film has raked in $150 million domestically and over $200 million worldwide.

With two months of free time before heading to Japan, Swift now has plenty of time to spend with her new boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34.

Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end began their romance in late September — months after his failed attempt to give her his phone number during her Eras Tour concert in Missouri.

Since then, she has attended a handful of his soccer games, often cheering him on alongside his mother Donna.

Kelce flew to Argentina earlier this month to see Swift perform in Argentina with her father Scott Swift, whom he met for the first time during that trip.

DailyMail.com revealed earlier this week that Swift will move into Kelce’s new $6 million mansion in Missouri while she takes a break from touring.

Her plane landed in Kansas City late Monday morning after a quick pit stop for fuel in Tampa, Florida, and the star headed straight for her lover’s new luxury pad.

In a recent interview with the Wall Street JournalKelce talked about their unlikely romance and gushed Swift’s ‘genius.’

He also pointed out that her worldview is “right up my alley.”

“Everyone knows I’m a family man,” he told the outlet. “Her team is her family. Her family does a lot of things in terms of the tour, the marketing and the attendance, so I think she has a lot of those values as well, which is right up my alley.”

Although Kelce has “never dated anyone with that kind of charisma” — referring to Swift’s superstar status — “he’s not running away from it.”

He knows that the Mean singer has a ‘magnifying glass on her’ and that paparazzi follow her wherever she goes. But that doesn’t stop her from ‘just living and enjoying life’.

Kelce said he was initially coy about their romance because he ‘didn’t want that’ saying anything that would drive Taylor away.”
