Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah is called ‘Jen Fonda’ from her federal prison and even helps Theranos fraudster Elizabeth Holmes strengthens her abs.

The 50-year-old Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star has become a training instructor at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, with the 39-year-old former biotechnology entrepreneur attending many of her classes.

Shah’s longtime manager Chris Giovanni said Jen created a 30- to 60-minute ab training class that she branded as “Shah-mazing.”

Giovanni told DailyMail.com exclusively: ‘Jen Shah is doing great and is successfully recovering during her time at FPC Bryan.

“She spent her Thanksgiving holiday with her mother and worked on her personal goals for when she gets out. She is grateful to her Shah-mazing fans for continuing to support her throughout this period.”

The manager also told us Page six Tuesday that the reality star has been nicknamed “Jen Fonda” for her efforts and that the Theranos fraudster is among those participating in the group workouts.

Giovanni explained, “Elizabeth [Holmes] visited together with other prisoners and it has become a thing there. Jen Fonda, that’s her nickname there.”

The nickname is a reference to Jane Fonda’s iconic workout videos, including Jane Fonda’s Original Workout, which were seemingly everywhere in the 1980s.

The routine includes cardio blasts and abdominal flexors. The manager said, “She made it in jail. It started as something she did to improve her fitness.

“Going in, she lost a fair amount of weight. She developed the Shah-mazing abs class…all the ladies would come and meet her in the courtyard and do workout segments.”

Shah has been making the most of her time inside, trying to help fellow inmates with makeup lessons and even a “sushi party,” according to the Page Six report.

In September, it was revealed that the two criminals have “bonded” in federal prison – and Holmes regularly attends the reality TV star’s workout classes.

Mother-of-two Holmes was found guilty of four fraud-related charges last year and was sentenced to just over 11 years in prison – a sentence she began on May 30.

While incarcerated in the federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, the multi-million dollar pharmaceutical fraudster is said to have taken training classes and spent time with her fellow high-profile inmate Shah, even seeking motherly advice from her.

The pair of convicts are said to have helped each other ‘get through’ their confinements.

Shah began her six-and-a-half-year prison sentence in February 2023 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering.

Her telemarketing scam defrauded thousands of people and lasted almost a decade. She was ordered to forfeit $6,500,000 and 30 luxury items.

Giovanni told PEOPLE at the time: ‘They are friends. They are both in recovery and have bonded through this journey of positive change.

‘Their situation brought them together and they understand each other well. Together they will get through it.’

Shah is said to be a “motherly” figure in federal prison for Holmes — who gave birth earlier this year before being incarcerated for her Theranos fraud.

The Real Housewife has even held Holmes’ newborn baby during family visits.

Prosecutors said Shah tricked her victims into buying fake corporate mentorship programs before landing them with brutal subscription payments they couldn't get out of.

According to the source, “Jen gave her a lot of advice. She even met Elizabeth’s baby and held her.”

Holmes – known as inmate 24965-111 – also regularly attends fitness classes that Shah instructs for the other ladies in the prison.

Giovanni told PEOPLE, “Jen gets all the ladies together and they rally behind her as she teaches them fitness moves, and Elizabeth has been there with them.”

He said both Holmes and Shah “have changed a lot behind bars.”

Bryan inmates share quad rooms with bunk beds in a dormitory setup — and are even allowed to purchase craft items, including crochet hooks, from the commissary for $1.30 per person.

Holmes is serving her sentence out of state — miles away from the $9 million San Diego mansion she shares with partner Billy Evans and their two children.

After her appeal to stay out of jail pending trial was denied and she was sentenced to prison, U.S. District Judge Edward Davila set a revised jail report date of May 30, meaning Holmes would spend Memorial Day Weekend with her family was allowed to spend before her stint in prison.

Holmes had once modeled herself as the next Bill Gates or Steve Jobs and won praise – including from Harvard University and Time magazine – for a fake technology, which she claimed would revolutionize blood testing methods by using from miraculously small amounts of blood, such as from a finger prick.

The mother of two started Theranos when she dropped out of Stanford University at age 19.

She had secured nearly a billion dollars in funding from some of the biggest pockets in the world: venture capitalist titans like Tim Draper, Donald Lucas and Dixon Doll; wealthy heirs of the founders of Amway, Walmart and Cox Communications; and heavyweights from the technology and media worlds, such as Larry Ellison and Rupert Murdoch.

Before these lies were exposed in a series of explosive articles in The Wall Street Journal beginning in October 2015, Holmes had raised a staggering amount of money from some of the biggest names in business and technology.

Holmes’ stake in Theranos at one point catapulted her paper fortune to $4.5 billion.

Jen Shah has been married since 1995 to University of Utah special teams coordinator Sharrieff Shah, 52, who has visited his wife behind bars.

The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City premiered on Bravo in November 2020, and Jen was arrested in March 2021 while filming the second season.

Jen maintained her innocence during season three of RHSLC as her federal fraud trial approached.

The season three finale showed Jen in New York City changing her plea to guilty in a deal with prosecutors just before the trial.
