Trump unveils wrapping paper with his mugshot on as part of his Christmas collection to keep bringing in millions in donations ahead of the Iowa caucuses
- Trump is once again trying to rely on his infamous Georgia mugshot
- Donors can receive ‘free’ wrapping paper in a ‘limited’ offer
- Trump is trying to use indictments, silence orders and mugshots to his advantage
Former President Donald Trump is hoping to cash in on some MAGA cyber shopping by posting his infamous mugshot on Christmas-themed wrapping paper as a plea for campaign donations.
Trump, who is known to hold campaign rallies with striking Christmas decor and who claimed in 2016 to have brought back the phrase “Merry Christmas,” sent an email appeal to his supporters on Saturday.
“If you’re anything like President Trump, all you want for Christmas is…MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” began the call from ‘Team Trump.’
“That’s why the President has directed our team to start sending FREE rolls of our limited edition wrapping paper to ANY patriot who contributes $47 or more to help save our country from corrupt Joe Biden and the Radical Democrats .’

A link takes supporters to a donation page with an image of a large wrapped box with a green bow on it.
The gift is wrapped in paper with a black-and-white image of Trump after he was processed at a Fulton County courthouse after being indicted on racketeering charges related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.
The photo has been altered to show Trump wearing a Santa hat.
The page states that the ‘NEVER SURRENDER MUGSHOT PAPER’ is a ‘FREE’ gift for those who donate. Visitors are then asked to click on tabs that range from $47 to $3,300, the maximum allowable individual federal campaign contribution.
It’s a limited-edition offering tied to the holidays, which fall just weeks before the Iowa caucuses and give Ron DeSantis the best chance to dent his leading rival.
Supporters can also pay $35 for “MAGA Fist Bump Wrapping paper” on Trump’s merchandise page, where he previously marketed his mugshot on a coffee mug.
For those who can’t wait until Christmas morning for their Trump surprise, there is also a ‘Never Surrender Christmas Stocking’ on offer.
While Trump is milking his mugshot to boost his campaign coffers, his legal quagmire has also cost him dearly tens of millions of dollars in legal fees.

President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump speak on the phone to children as they follow Santa Claus with the North American Aerospace Defense Command, NORAD, in 2018. Trump famously asked a seven-year-old child: “Are you still a believer in Santa? ? Because at age seven it’s marginal, right?’
Trump has used his mugshot in Fulton County Georgia since his trial in August
Trump understood the impact of his mugshot in August, when he returned to Twitter to blast out the scowling image. In his separate fraud trial in New York, Trump has regularly attacked prosecutors who he says are waging a witch hunt against him, while also earning a silence order by going after the judge’s clerk.
This holiday season will see key early primaries and caucuses in states, as well as looming deadlines for lawsuits against Trump.
In 2021, he claimed credit for people saying “Merry Christmas” instead of “Happy Holidays.”
“When I started campaigning, I said you’re going to say ‘Merry Christmas’ again, and now people are saying it,” he told interviewer Mike Huckabee on Newsmax.
Donors who make a donation to the Trump Save America Joint Fundraising Committee can click a box to make an additional donation. It says President Biden and Democrats “wrongfully arrested President Trump, attempted to imprison him for life as an innocent man, took a MUGSHOT from him, and even silenced and censored him.”
