Bizarre iPhone glitch causes woman’s alarm to go off at 9:25am every day despite her not having scheduled it – and even Apple is baffled
The sound of the alarm clock going off in the morning is something that most of us dread.
But for one woman, the vibration of the daily iPhone alarm is especially annoying.
Angele Sofia, a British TikToker, claims she is ‘haunted’ by an alarm that goes off every morning at 9.25am – despite not having planned it.
Ms Sofia has posted a series of videos on her TikTok, pleading for help with the unusual problem.
‘I am convinced that I will die tomorrow morning at 9:25 am. Like it’s a prediction of my death,” she said.

Ms Sofia posted her first video on the issue five days ago and it has already been viewed more than 780,000 times.
“I’m having a glitch or issue on my iPhone that no Apple employee can seem to figure out, so I’m turning to TikTok because I need help,” she said in the video.
‘Actually, I have an alarm clock that goes off every morning at 9:25 am without any problems.
“And I don’t have an alarm set for 9:25, and I’ve never had an alarm for 9:25.”
According to Ms Sofia, the alarm started ‘out of the blue’ about four or five years ago and has gone off every day since.
“The alarm only goes off when my phone isn’t on silent, which is obviously not normal for an alarm, and it only goes off once,” she explained.
This isn’t the first iPhone Ms Sofia has experienced the problem with the alarm being ‘transmitted via phones’.
“If you get a new iPhone, you can transfer your data because I don’t want to start over,” she said.
“My 9:25 a.m. alarm is there, and that’s the most stressful thing.”

Based on the comments, several users suggested fixes for the alarm, with many claiming it was likely scheduled in the Health app.
“It’s in your Health app,” one user commented, while another added: “I GOT IT OUT!! Go to the health app>Summary tab>sleep>full schedule and options>edit full schedule>scroll down>delete schedule.’
When Ms. Sofia tried this solution, she was unfortunately left disappointed.
“When I go through my alarms in my sleep, nothing happens,” she explained in a follow-up video.
‘If I go to the sleeping section via Health, you will also see that it is not there either.’
Other users suggested that resetting her Settings app or uninstalling the Clock app would fix the problem.
However, neither suggestion proved fruitful.
In a video posted this morning, Ms Sofia said: ‘I really don’t think I can do anything right now.
“I deleted the clock, I deleted the calendar, I deleted the shortcuts app, I deleted my reminders.
‘I deleted all the things people say it could have come from and restarted my phone after deleting them.
“I think at this point it might be time to retire.”
