Terrifying moment Hamas gunmen riddle Israeli petrol station with bullets as workers run for cover: Terrorists give up trying to murder civilians and loot store during October 7 attack…even stealing the trash can
This is the dramatic moment two gas station workers flee in panic as Hamas thugs riddled their store with bullets.
Both men are seen on CCTV footage peering cautiously out the door after hearing gunshots outside on the morning of October 7 when the terrorists launched their bloody attack.
The camera then pans to the forecourt and captures the terrifying scene of a group of armed Hamas terrorists advancing toward the gas station, shooting wildly.
Both men – one a Jew and the other a Muslim Arab – turn and flee to the back of the gas station near Ashkelon in southern Israel and hide in a freezer off camera.
There is a brief moment of panic as a man struggles with the key before they manage to open the door and escape to the refrigeration unit.
The footage was compiled from several CCTV cameras at the gas station and released by owner Moris Atias and is timestamped as 7:50 am on October 7.

Cameras captured the moment the vicious terrorists burst into the store, frantically searching for the two employees who had been hiding in the freezer out of shot
The terrorists burst through the door armed with AK47s, then rush into the store, beckoning others to follow – and rush desperately to the back, behind the counter
Other clips capture the moment bullets ping through the store, crashing into display cases and shattering the glass doors.

Two terrorists find the back door through which the men escaped and kick it open, but realizing they have fled, turn around and go back into the store – one of them takes out a mobile phone.
Another is not satisfied with the phone and picks up a display case of orange drinks, while others grab a handful of chips, chocolate and other food.
Strangely enough, a terrorist takes several tubes of coffee capsules from Starbucks and in his frenzied excitement, spills some of them on the ground.
Another takes a croissant from a display cabinet after being frustrated by the closed cash register behind the counter.
The time codes show that the senseless looting lasted two minutes before the terrorists ran out of the store – someone with his loot in a metal garbage can.

Owner Moris Atias, who was away at the time, told MailOnline: ‘The two guys who worked there were lucky to get out of there alive.
“They spent 90 minutes in the back freezer while the shooting continued and the terrorists stole whatever they wanted.”
Mr Atias said he watched the terrifying drama unfold while the cameras were linked to his phone.
He told MailOnline: ‘I couldn’t believe what I saw, the two boys were terrified but they managed to survive.
“They heard the shooting and then people shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ and went to see what was happening. Then they saw the terrorists running towards them.
‘They told me they had never been so scared in their lives, they ran to the back and stayed in the freezer for an hour and a half before coming out.
“They only came out because they heard the voices of the Israeli soldiers who had come to the gas station to check what had happened.
“These people are just murderers, they wanted to kill my two employees, and for what? They just don’t care about people’s lives.”
The gas station is just a few minutes’ drive from Kibbutz Nir Oz, where 180 of the 400 residents were murdered or kidnapped.
