‘Mrs Doubtfire’ in road rage meltdown: Moment elderly driver in cardigan and spectacles launches foul-mouthed tirade at biker she claims hit her car

  • EXCLUSIVE: Woman tells rider to ‘shut up’ after accusing him of hitting her

A motorcyclist claims a foul-mouthed older woman dressed as ‘the real Mrs. Doubtfire’ accused him of driving her sports car – despite not going near the car and catching the entire conversation on camera.

Helmet camera footage shows a delivery driver weaving through traffic in Elephant and Castle, south London, on October 24 when a vehicle’s door opens, blocking his path before he even reaches the car.

A woman wearing a patterned top and purple vest “just like Mrs. Doubtfire” begins to get out of the driver’s seat while he is still almost a car length away and tells him, “You just ran into me.”

Despite the bewildered driver reassuring her that he had not collided with her and telling her to return to her car, she continues to walk to the rear of the orange Toyota GT86 to inspect it for damage.

He tells her that he is capturing the disagreement on his camera and tells her to return to her car.

When it turns out that no collision has occurred, she mutters

When it turns out that no collision has occurred, she mutters “shut up” to the delivery person and gets back in the car.

As traffic gathers around them, he tells her, “Get back in your car, crazy woman.”

But before she walks back, she turns around and replies “shut the fuck up” – and descends into foul-mouthed obscenities, just like Robin Williams does in the family’s favorite movie.

After calling the woman a ‘f****** idiot’, he drives in front and then stops to let other vehicles filter through the road in front of her.

The feud ends when the irate motorcyclist rides a few meters next to her before squeezing between lanes to continue his work.

After the incident, the rider – who asked to remain anonymous because of his job – said: ‘I was confused. Not everyone leaves their vehicle in the middle of the road in this way.

‘I didn’t understand what she was doing, so I tried to be as neutral as possible at first.

“If you’re worried about damage to your car, I don’t know why you would leave the door open.”

He added that he was pleased that the helmet camera showed that he did not appear to make any contact with the vehicle.

He added: “Having a camera prevents you from falling victim to false accusations.

“Ultimately I just wanted to filter through before the channel got blocked.”

Comedy favorite Mrs Doubtfire saw Robin Williams play Daniel Hillard, a voice actor whose wife divorces him because she finds him too immature to care for their family.

He recruits a friend to create a special effects mask and bodysuit that transforms him into Euphegenia Doubtfire, a soft-spoken nanny hired by his ex-wife so he can stay close to his children.

In one of the film’s funniest scenes, Williams, as Doubtfire, is unleashed against a man who tries to rob him of his purse, thinking he’s an innocent old woman.

He shouts back, “Go away, you son of a bitch!” before trotting away on his heels, muttering, “Break my bag, that son of a bitch.”
