The latest incident comes after a wave of victims became embroiled in a dangerous game known as the ‘blackout challenge’, which was made popular again by TikTok.
A boy was left unconscious at King’s Christian College on the Gold Coast in 2022 after noticing he was part of the deadly game.
Last year, emergency services were called to four separate incidents in south-east Queensland involving alleged victims who had been suffocated.
A 14-year-old boy died in NSW in 2021 after daring to strangle himself as part of the ‘blackout’ game.
Queensland Police were contacted for comment.
