Michael Fassbender reveals what he’s really been up to during his four-year acting hiatus on The Graham Norton Show, airing Friday.

When host Graham asks him about his four-year hiatus from Hollywood, Michael says he has become “addicted” to endurance racing because it allows him to get to a place where he doesn’t think about anything else.

“I’m super addicted and I want to go back and do Le Mans again – it was extraordinary.

‘It’s not just about the speed, it’s about getting to a place where you don’t think about anything else. I love it.’

Michael is joined on Graham’s sofa by comedy legend Jennifer Saunders, Back to Life star Daisy Haggard, comedian Phil Wang and Take That.

During the show, Jennifer talks about her pantomime debut as Captain Hook in Peter Pan at the London Palladium.

She jokes that as a 65-year-old, she often forgets the choreography, so she’s not sure if she can wave a sword around Peter Pan.

Daisy, 45, also reveals real-life husband Joe Wilson, who appears with her in BBC drama Boat Story, ‘plays her sex pest’ and his character is to send her ‘d**k pictures’.

She says, “He’s playing my sex pest! His character has to send me d**k pics.

‘When he got the part, he got a call from the production office asking for a picture of his face so they could pick the right penis.

‘When I saw the pictures it was such a shock I screamed.’

It comes as Netflix viewers raved about Michael’s latest show, an adaptation of French graphic novel The Killer.

The neo-noir R-rated thriller, which has been in the works since 2007, is modeled after the 1998 French comic book of the same name, by Alex Nolent and artist Luc Jacamon, and stars Michael as a troubled assassin.

The film had a limited release in cinemas on October 27, but just two weeks later, on November 10, the slow burner was released on streaming platform Netflix.

Since then, The Killer has taken social media by storm, with fans calling it a “lovely watch” and others calling it their “favorite movie of the year.”

But such rave reviews are not a rarity for Fincher, whose films are quickly becoming cult classics such as Fight Club and Zodiac.

After a crucial close call, an assassin takes on his employers on an international manhunt, all while battling his inner demons.

Michael Fassbender brings the cool and calculating killer to life as he lurks in the shadows and listens to The Smiths while waiting for the perfect moment to claim his next victim – without an ounce of regret in his mind.

However, his callous act quickly begins to unravel when a hit goes wrong and the killer becomes embroiled in a blood-stained manhunt across the world.
