- The Israeli site N12 reports that Musk will visit Netanyahu next week
- He will visit border towns in Gaza and discuss aid to Israel and Palestine
- Musk previously sparked outrage by supporting an anti-Semitic tweet
- He also promised to connect cut-off Gaza citizens to satellite internet
According to Israeli news media, Elon Musk will visit Israel next week and tour Gaza’s border towns.
N12 reports that the Tesla magnate will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.
Musk has not yet confirmed the visit and a spokesperson for Netanyahu’s office did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s questions.
The tech mogul was accused of promoting anti-Semitism after responding to a racist post with the comment: “You said the actual truth.”
The Tesla magnate was widely criticized for responding to an anti-Semitic tweet claiming that Jews have “propagated exactly this kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim they want people to stop using against them.”
‘I’m not at all interested in saying even the tiniest bit of s*** about the fact that the Western Jewish population is coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities who support the flooding of their country don’t particularly like them.
“You want the truth told to your face, there it is,” the insulting tweet read.
Musk responded, “You said the actual truth,” sparking fierce online reactions.
He later backtracked on the claim that he is anti-Semitic, saying: “Nothing could be further from the truth.”
‘Over the past week there have been hundreds of fake stories in the media claiming that I am anti-Semitic.
‘Nothing could be further from the truth. “I wish only the best for humanity and a prosperous and exciting future for all,” he said.
He has since pledged to donate X’s advertising revenue to hospitals in Israel and Gaza, and previously said he would connect Gaza’s remaining civilians and humanitarian workers to his company’s Internet satellite.
