Man dies in crash on New England Hwy, Ravensworth
A man has been killed in a horror two-vehicle crash in the NSW Hunter Valley.
Emergency services were called to the New England Highway in Ravensworth shortly after 4.30pm on Thursday following reports of a collision between a ute and a sedan.
The male sedan driver, 60, died at the scene despite desperate attempts by paramedics to revive him.

The male driver, 57, was taken to hospital for mandatory tests.
The police have started an investigation into the accident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
