Travis Kelce had a poor game by his high standards against the Eagles on Monday, and Chris “Mad Dog” Russo believes his bye weekend to Argentina was unwise.

A week after traveling to South America to see girlfriend Taylor Swift perform, Kelce posted seven catches for 44 yards in a 21-17 loss to Philly.

And Russo believes he should have spent his bye week on a quieter note as he chastised First Take’s tight end on Wednesday.

“What about Travis Kelce? You’re going to Argentina – during your bye week!’ he said. “It’s 6,000 miles from Kansas City. And then he goes out there Monday night, he drops a huge pass on fourth-and-2, he holds and he fumbles!

“You’re bouncing around the world with Taylor Swift, I mean my god you’re a football player. You must be present at training and practice.

Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo disagreed with Travis Kelce’s decision to go to Argentina last week

“Quick in February, fine,” he added. ‘Not in November!’

While his Chiefs were off in Week 10, Kelce spotted Swift performing in Buenos Aires on November 11, as he was pictured next to the star’s father during the show.

Swift then ran to her friend after her performance ended as the pair shared a kiss.

Russo’s tirade comes on the same day Jon “Stugotz” Weiner warned Kelce that Chiefs fans would soon move aside.

“I have a message for Travis Kelce, Dan, because he’s a friend of mine and I’m telling you right now, he doesn’t know this is going to happen, but it’s about to happen,” Weiner said on the Dan Le Batard- show with Stugotz.

“They lose more games, he has a drop, he has a big fumble in that game and a big turnover. Chiefs fans are starting to doubt Travis Kelce.

“Back to Travis – I’m telling you it’s coming. Chiefs fans will come at him on sports radio for not being as focused as he has been in recent years. He’s one of the leaders of the team, one of the captains of the team. Everyone will criticize him and say you’ve lost your focus.’

Kelce and the Chiefs hope to get back in the win column this Sunday against the Raiders.
