“I don’t think there’s anything more beautiful than when a confident, smart, confident woman walks into the room,” the star said. “My mother taught me that, so even though I grew up as the ugly duckling of my family, I didn’t have a bad relationship with beauty.”

She continued, “What it has taught me is that you shouldn’t depend on it. I knew I’d be the smart one, I knew I’d be the funny one, so even though I’m on the Most Beautiful List… it doesn’t just define me.”

As for her beauty tips, Longoria said she “always” has mascara in her bag because “it just brightens up her ‘whole face.’

After becoming a mother, she has refrained from wearing red lipstick because she “constantly kisses and cuddles” her son and doesn’t want to “get it over him.”

‘My beauty routine is definitely more efficient because I have a son. My beauty and makeup routine can’t last long, I have to get on with my day,” she explained.
