Britney Spears pays over $700 for traffic violation ticket and driving school fees to avoid insurance penalty… after being pulled over twice within two months

Britney Spears transferred the money to put her recent traffic violation behind her on Tuesday.

The 41-year-old Toxic singer – whose sister Jamie Lynn Spears is having a hard time on I’m A Celeb – paid the $332 fine for her ticket from October when a police officer spotted her crossing double lines, according to TMZ.

In addition, she paid another $400 to pay for traffic school to avoid getting a fine on her insurance, the outlet said.

The payout comes a month after the pop star coughed up more than $1,100 to cover the cost of her September ticket.

Both traffic violations included documented communications with the police officers who stopped her, but neither seemed argumentative.

Spears was seen in police bodycam footage obtained by TMZ after a California Highway Patrol officer pulled her over at her home in Thousand Oaks, California, on October 6.

Spears told the officer – the same one who had previously stopped her on September 10 for an alleged speeding ticket – that she urgently needed to use the bathroom on the way to her house.

“I’m so sorry, I have to go to the bathroom… it’s about to come out,” she told the officer. “Sorry, my house is over there.”

Spears asked for her driver’s license and registration and said her security team had her passport and driver’s license after she returned from a trip.

The CHP officer told Spears he was not intentionally trying to stop her, but was looking for motorists who were speeding or crossing double yellow lines.

The officer issued the Toxic artist a citation for crossing the double yellow lines and advised her she was free to go and drive safely. Spears was fined $327, payable on November 21 TMZ.

The violation occurred after Spears was ‘pulled and ticketed’ driving without a driver’s license or proof of insurance in her car by CHP on September 10, just a month after her estranged husband Sam Asghari, 29, filed for divorce, according to court documents obtained by The explosion.

In that conversation, which TMZ posted bodycam footage, the CHP officer told the pop star that she had been clocked driving 60 miles per hour, 33 miles per hour, over the 60 mile per hour speed limit.

The star was initially stopped for speeding in her white Mercedes, and police allege she did not have a “valid driver’s license in her possession” and failed to “provide proof of financial responsibility to a peace officer.”

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, please forgive me,” the Womanizer singer told the officer, who noted that he had pulled over the singer for speeding and “gave her a break last time.”

Spears was unable to produce her driver’s license, registration or proof of insurance for the vehicle because she had just returned from overseas and it had been in the possession of her security staff.

The violations earned the entertainer a $1,140 fineonline records show it has since paid off, according to the publication.
