Momoa most notably portrayed the character of Jason Ioane in Baywatch: Hawaii from 1999 to 2001.

‘I call it the B-word. But I fell in love with acting, and I only stayed for a few seasons because you really don’t want to get stuck in the B hole,” he joked.

β€œAnd now I feel like my life has come full circle,” he told the audience.

‘I do a lot of work to protect our oceans and small island states. I even started my own water company to eliminate single-use plastic water bottles,” said Jason, referring to Mananalu Pure Water which he launched in 2019.

‘This work really means a lot to me. I mean it. We’re going to save the whales, the coral reef, and the sponge bobs, because Jason Momoa loves life.”

To conclude his opening monologue, the actor said a Hawaiian saying, which he said translated as: “Take care of the earth, take care of each other.”
