Wayne Brady involved in ‘physical altercation’ with driver on Malibu highway after car accident

Wayne Brady reportedly got into an altercation with the driver of a car that struck his vehicle in Malibu on Sunday evening.

The 51-year-old star of The Whose Line Is It Anyway was driving along the Pacific Coast Highway when the collision occurred, leading to a “physical altercation” between the two drivers, per TMZ.

Sources told the outlet that immediately after the crash, Wayne and the other driver, a 51-year-old man, stopped on the highway, got out of their car and an “intense argument” ensued, which escalated into a fight.

Police said the comedian called 911 after the struggle with the driver, who jumped back into his car and “took off on PCH.”

The driver was reportedly tracked down by authorities and arrested for battery, driving under the influence and hit-and-run.

The outlet also reported that firefighters arrived after the other driver left the scene.

Wayne reportedly did not require medical attention at the time.

However, an insider told TMZ that the star was “devastated and sore the day after the incident” and will “take it easy.”

The accident comes almost two months after Wayne said he felt “dishonest” before coming out as pansexual.

“I think that’s the piece that was missing, that I couldn’t put into words because I couldn’t hold on to it,” he said Entertainment tonight. “I’ve always felt so dishonest, and if I was dishonest, there’s no way to really give yourself 100 percent.”
