Travis Kelce’s mom Donna opens up about her son’s relationship with Taylor Swift – admitting NFL star ‘likes the attention’ but jokes people must be ‘tired of our family’
Travis Kelce‘s mother Donna Kelce has revealed that her son “loves attention” and “embraces” his time in the spotlight as his relationship with Taylor Swift continues to raise its profile to stratospheric heights.
In an interview with Good Morning America on Monday, Donna, 71, shared her thoughts on the Kansas City Chiefs star’s blossoming romance with the Cruel Summer singer, 33.
In the ABC program she said: ‘I think the attention is only part of the picture.
“Obviously (she) is a megastar, and I think Travis embraces (the fame) as much as he can, so I think it’s good.

Travis and Taylor officially committed their romance in October after months of dating
‘He likes attention, so as long as he can handle it, I have no problem with it. She’s a very nice person.’
Donna added, “I’m sure everyone is tired of our family in some ways, but it’s really with joy that we can do things together.”
Travis, 34, has certainly made the most of monetizing his relationship with Taylor, having filed five new trademarks last month alone.
In addition to his name, the NFL player reportedly also wants to trademark his Instagram name “Killlatrav,” his signature catchphrase “Alright Nah,” a reference to his jersey number “Flight 87” and “Kelce’s Krunch.”
According to Gerben, the documents allege that Kelce will use the trademarks for a variety of purposes, including pins, posters, bobbleheads, clothing and even breakfast cereal.
The ‘Killatrav’ application states that the intended purpose is for jewellery, including label pins.
Both his social media handle and the slogan “Alright Nah” were known and associated with Kelce by NFL fans, with the latter popularized by his frequent use of it during his “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

Travis launched his limited-edition ‘Kelce Krunch’ cereal last year after signing a multi-year endorsement deal with supermarket chain Hy-Vee in 2021, with a portion of the proceeds going to his foundation.
The eventual trademark ‘Flight 87′ is a nod to his jersey number, which also appears in Kelce’s other endeavors, including his ’87 & Running’ foundation. The filing also states that the intended purpose is jewelry.
All five trademark applications were filed on October 30 and are awaiting examination.
The couple’s budding romance dominated headlines last month after the Love Story singer started cheering on her football boyfriend at Chiefs games.
The 12-time Grammy Award winner has been spotted supporting her boyfriend from the stands during four of his games this season, sometimes sitting next to his mother, Donna, and father, Ed.
She made her first appearance at Arrowhead for the Week 3 defeat of the reigning Super Bowl champions the Chicago Bears before heading to MetLife Stadium with her famous entourage of Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman to watch the Chiefs narrowly beat the New York Times. York Jets.

This isn’t the first time Donna has spoken out about her son’s relationship on breakfast television, after apparently throwing shade at Taylor during an appearance on the Today show on October 6.
During her interview on the program, hosts Hoda Kotb, 59, and Savanna Gutherie, 51, asked Donna what it was like meeting Taylor for the first time at Travis’ game against the Bears in September — but she didn’t seem overly enthusiastic.
She said: ‘I was in the boxes with her. And yeah, it’s just something else that has boosted my life.”
Pressed for more details, Savannah asked, “What was she like?” I mean, so you got to know her a little bit. I have to sit with her for a few games. How was it?’
But Donna was apparently in no mood to be pressured and simply joked, “It was okay.”
Savannah laughed awkwardly after the lukewarm response, while Hoda quickly interjected, saying, “We’ve both met her, and we’ve always been happy with her.”
The hosts then tried to figure out why Donna remained coy, with Savannah asking, “Did Travis say, ‘Mom, when you come on the Today show and start spilling the beans.’ Did you get a little warning?’
“It’s not so much a warning as it is his personal life,” Donna replied.
