Intense helmet-cam video shows IDF commandos in terrifying gunfight with Hamas as they storm bombed-out Gaza hotel hunting for terrorists hiding in the ruins

Intense footage shows Israeli forces storming the ruins of a hotel as they hunt down Hamas terrorists as the IDF continues its operations in the Gaza Strip.

Using machine guns and even a tank, we see the khaki-clad Israeli soldiers advancing with tactical precision and exchanging fire with hidden enemies.

After moving through the ruins of the large building in one of Gaza’s refugee camps, the IDF said its troops discovered a cache of weapons.

The Israeli operation was triggered by the Hamas terror attack on October 7 in southern Israel, in which Palestinian gunmen killed more than 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and captured some 240 men, women and children.

Israel vowed to destroy Hamas and has retaliated with a crushing bombardment and ground offensive that has killed 11,400 people so far, according to Gaza officials.

Of these, two-thirds are said to be women and minors. Another 2,700 have been reported missing, believed to be buried under the rubble.

The latest dramatic footage of the IDF ground invasion shows commandos methodically moving from room to room at the hotel in Mulched, northern Gaza.

Heavily armed and armored troops comb through the terrain, using rubble for cover and firing around blind corners where Hamas terrorists could be hiding.

An Israeli tank is also seen in the fray, opening fire on Hamas positions, and an airstrike is launched as two soldiers watch through a window, sending a fireball into the sky along with a large plume of smoke.

Fighting in Gaza involves advancing slowly and methodically through tightly packed streets, especially when it comes to Gaza City’s refugee camps.

Although known as refugee camps in the past, they have since grown into self-contained neighborhoods, resembling more slum-like conditions.

Israeli forces face death around every corner in their mission to eradicate the terrorist group, with every street carrying the risk of an ambush or a booby trap.

Analysts have compared the dangerous close-quarters fighting to Stalingrad in 1942, and more recently to the 2017 Battle of Mosul.

Filmed by a camera mounted on the helmet of an IDF soldier, the latest dramatic video demonstrates this in heartbreaking detail.

The commandos are seen advancing through narrow streets with blown-out and bullet-ridden walls with raised machine guns.

Dark windows, through which a Hamas terrorist could appear at any moment, line the buildings above the soldiers as they carry out the operation.

Finally, the video shows IDF troops inside the hotel, following each other through narrow corridors – more darkened doors and blind corners at every turn.

As they progress, we see them firing bullets at unseen targets.

Ultimately, the clip shows the soldiers entering a room where the IDF said they discovered a cache of weapons.

“Last week, the combatants of the commando formation carried out on-foot raids in coordination with armored, technical and air support forces in the north of the Al-Shati camp,” the IDF said in a statement accompanying the images.”

It said the neighborhood was “the most densely populated place where the IDF has been active since the fighting in Gaza began.”

Meanwhile, Israeli forces also said they have recovered an arsenal of Hamas weapons hidden in several kindergartens and schools.

IDF officials said the loot included rocket-propelled grenades, mortar bombs and other weapons found during an operation in the northern Gaza Strip.

Another video released by the Israeli Defense Forces showed a raid on the ‘Al-Carmel’ primary school in Gaza City, where the find was found.

The camera started with a shot of a classroom and then panned to a closet where a pile of RPG grenades was clearly visible.

Another clip showed Israeli Air Force fighter jets targeting the area after Hamas terrorists tried to escape and killed them.

The Al-Shati camp is located about a mile from Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

There, Israeli special forces have been searching the facility since Wednesday and claim to have found evidence that hostages seized by Hamas in their October 7 attacks on southern Israel were being held there.

The army said troops recovered the remains of kidnapped female soldier Noa Marciano, 19, “from a building next to Al-Shifa Hospital.”

It had confirmed her death this week, without specifying the cause. Hamas said she was killed in Israeli bombings.

On Thursday, the army said soldiers had found the body of another hostage near Al-Shifa. Yehudit Weiss, 65, who was kidnapped from the kibbutz community of Beeri.

However, the Hamas-led Health Ministry said on Friday that 24 patients had died in the past two days due to power outages.

“Twenty-four patients in various wards have died in the past 48 hours as vital medical equipment stopped functioning due to the power outage,” ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said.

On Monday, the ministry said 27 adult intensive care patients and seven infants had already died as Gaza’s largest hospital ran out of fuel to run its generators.

The health facility has become the focus of Israel’s war against Hamas, with Israel claiming Islamist fighters are using a tunnel complex under the hospital to stage their attacks. Hamas has repeatedly denied the claims.

The Health Ministry said the raid devastated medical services at the hospital, where the UN said 2,300 patients, staff and displaced Palestinians sheltered before Israeli forces moved in.
