Patriots legend Tom Brady said New England head coach Bill Belichick is coaching the team no differently than he used to and needs to make changes in the middle of a terrible season.
“You have to change your strategy, different weeks there are different challenges, and I think the Patriots are just struggling, but not playing with the kind of confidence that you’ve always seen,” Brady said. his Let’s Go podcast.
“Obviously, coach Belichick, I don’t think he coaches any differently now than the way he coached when we were undefeated. A lot of things have to go right for us to win and succeed.”
However, Brady continued to defend Belichick as many observers accused the legendary coach of botching the Patriots’ offense.
“The more I sit back and look – everyone wants to celebrate when you win as an organization; everyone is responsible,” Brady said.

And the same applies: everyone is also responsible if you lose. It can’t be that everyone is on the bus when you win and gets off the bus when you lose and (say), ‘Let’s point the finger at one person.
“If you look at losses, the organization loses, the fan base loses; everyone is in it together.”
The Patriots organization has suffered a lot of losses since Brady left town, and this season they have taken the ineptitude to another level.
New England currently sits at a 2-8 record heading into their bye week and the futures of both Belichick and starting quarterback Mac Jones are both in question.
Jones was benched for a quarter after being berated by his offensive coordinator during the 10-6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, which he initiated by questioning the coaching staff’s decision-making.
Belichick, on the other hand, has had his name mentioned in numerous rumors about him being traded to another team this offseason, as we may already have a future destination in mind.
