A young mother has shared her hilarious response when her teenage son claimed she is too old to wear a bikini.
Ashley, who goes by @mad4life2 on TikTok, posted a clip on Barry Island Beach in South Wales, where she donned a white two-piece swimsuit.
In the video, she claims her son tells her she’s “too old for that bikini” – to which she replies that she’ll send him to his grandmother’s house.
She plays NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye over the clip, as a nod to the dismissive attitude she has towards her son’s opinions.
Reacting to the clip, people told her she looked great in the two-piece and joked that her son was probably worried that all his friends would like his mom.

The video was viewed by more than 220,000 people, with viewers commenting on the clip to share their own thoughts.
One user joked, “Stacy’s mom has it together,” while another wrote “that all his friends insist on meeting at your house.”
Someone reasoned, “I think it’s more that he doesn’t want to see his mother like that, or that other people don’t want to see his mother like that.”
Ashley replied: “Really good point. If (he led) that as an opening argument, instead of telling me I was too old, maybe he could (have) come to the beach lol’.
