Due to the strike, none of the NSYNC members have been able to talk about the upcoming animated film – which premieres on Friday.

According to IMDb, Timberlake as well as Lance Bass, Joey Fantone, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick all have voice actors in the new Trolls movie.

The band also co-released a song titled Better Place for the official film soundtrack.

Sources told the outlet that while they were working together to release a new song, they wouldn’t be performing or touring together anytime soon.

There are rumors that Timberlake has been working on a new album and a support act, but “scheduling remains an issue.”

This also comes amid a firestorm of backlash Timberlake has received from social media users after his ex-girlfriend, Britney Spears, released her bombshell memoir, The Woman in Me.

In her explosive story, she talks about their one-time relationship, including accusations of cheating between the two of them and an abortion.

Since her book came out in late October, Timberlake had disabled the comments section on his social media accounts.
