Workers claim murder suspect Sam Haskell paid them $500 to remove trash bags ‘containing BODY PARTS’ from his LA home and tried to pass them off as Halloween props – as his wife and in-laws remain missing after woman’s torso was discovered
A group of workers claim they were hired to move garbage bags containing “body parts” from Sam Haskell’s Los Angeles home.
The workers said they were hired by Haskell, 35, the son of a top Hollywood music talent agent who was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of murder.
Surveillance footage captured the moment a dismembered torso was thrown into a dumpster before being discovered by a homeless man.
The workers say they were paid $500 to remove three large garbage bags from Haskell’s garage, which he said was full of rocks.
“When we picked up the bags, we could see they weren’t bricks,” one worker said NBC4.

The workers, who did not want to be identified, claim the bags they were assigned to move were soft and heavy, appeared to be filled with meat and weighed about 50 pounds.
After putting the bags in a truck, they said something didn’t feel right about the job, and they stopped the truck a block from the house to inspect them.
That’s when they say they saw the bags filled with body parts.
“I was amazed,” the worker said. ‘Of course I felt bad. We were deceived.’
They said they ran back to Haskell’s house, left the bags in his driveway and returned the money.
“God was watching over us,” they added, saying they feared for their lives because of the gruesome nature of their find.
When they told Haskell they didn’t want to be involved in the situation, they said Haskell was trying to pass off the body parts as Halloween props.
The workers added that they immediately rushed to inform police, but claim they were turned away from two police stations when they tried to report the incident.
After the California Highway Patrol station in De Soto, California told them to report to the Los Angeles Police Department, they said an LAPD precinct in Topanga told them to leave and call 911 from the parking lot.
