New Jersey elementary school janitor Giovanni Impellizzeri who ‘urined in food, put feces in taco meat and rubbed his genitals on cooking utensils’ claimed he was a ‘satanist’ and WANTED to make children sick, prosecutor says

A janitor at a New Jersey elementary school took to bragging online about how he had contaminated children’s food with bleach, bodily fluids and even his own feces to make them sick, it is alleged.

Giovanni Impellizzeri, 25, who claimed online to be a Satanist doing “the devil’s work,” has been charged with child endangerment, aggravated assault and food tampering at the Elizabeth F. Moore School in the Upper Deerfield School District.

Messages Impellizzeri allegedly posted on the encrypted phone app Telegram were shown in Cumberland County Superior Court as part of the bail hearing where Judge Cristen D’Arrigo took him into custody rather than being released.

Impellizzeri was arrested on October 31 and had been a custodian at the school since 2019. Prosecutors say he is still considered a serious risk to public safety.

School authorities contacted police after receiving a tip-off about social media posts showing Impellizzeri allegedly engaging in sexual acts with “inanimate objects” in the building.

In posts on the social media app, he said, “Honestly. I’ve put bleach in their food before. They were fine, just a little sick. Oh, well. Not my problem,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Lindsey Seidel in court. , while reading the message.

‘He also stated: “I am very sick in my head. I admit that.”

“And he said, ‘They had taco meat before, and I put some… poop in it and mixed it in, and no one knew the difference. They ate it right away.’

Investigators allege he contaminated the food and utensils in the school cafeteria with bodily fluids, including urine, saliva and feces.

Police said Impellizzeri also used bread to touch his penis, anus and testicles before spitting on it and then putting it back in a container so it could be served to the young students.

In another video, Seidel explained how Impellizzeri set up a phone to record himself in the cafeteria as he allegedly sprayed Clorox Clean-Up bleach into a container full of cucumbers with the intent to harm children.

“He mixes the spray with the cucumbers, spits the cucumbers in and then sprays some more,” says Seidel.

‘He then looks at the camera and says, “Oh. They smell just like bleach, dude. They’re going to get so fucking sick from this s***. They’re going to get so fucking sick, dude.” He then puts the plastic foil back around the container with cucumbers.’

“Because of these fetishes and compulsions, as he has already expressed through his messages to others, it is likely that he will continue to put the public at risk of contamination with bodily fluids wherever he goes,” Attorney General Seidel said.

It is believed the incidents occurred while he was both alone on the school grounds and while the kitchens were in use.

Some of the alleged incidents are said to have taken place last October.

Seidel also revealed how Impellizzeri called himself a Satanist, noting that his messages stated he was always doing “the devil’s work.”

“Because of these fetishes and compulsions, as he has already expressed in his communications to others, it is likely that he will continue to place the public everywhere at risk of contamination with bodily fluids,” Attorney General Seidel said.

“If he can’t control himself in a primary school full of children, what’s to stop him from trying similar things in a McDonald’s or in a supermarket.”

“This is a public health crisis right now. We don’t know who or where he has been,” parent Rachel Jenkins said ABC7.

Jenkins, whose child attends Elizabeth Moore School, said: ‘Kids are getting sick, getting diarrhea and vomiting, and we blame it on stomach flu, when really it could be hepatitis or food poisoning. Who knows what else he’ll put in there?’

The school sent a text message to parents asking for information and initially claimed no students were involved.

“When there’s bodily fluids and all that other stuff going around, that’s direct involvement,” parent John Wojtowicz said.

A group of parents picking up their children were addressed by the superintendent in the parking lot last Friday, but a petition was started to fire the school official.

Officials say the school district is working with the Department of Health to ensure food preparation areas, surfaces and utensils have been properly disinfected and that food has been disposed of.

Samples are being taken from Impellizzeri to see if he has any diseases that can be transmitted.

“For now, parents of students and others who may have consumed contaminated food should contact their healthcare provider if they show signs of illness, especially severe illness,” the Department of Health said in a statement.
