Hilary Duff put on a leggy show in a quirky skirt on Wednesday as she made the final stop on the promotional tour for her new children’s book My Little Sweet Boy,
The Younger alum, 36, wore an ankle-length lemon yellow skirt that fell in long strips from the bottom of her derriere to the bottom of the skirt.
She combined the unique skirt with a cream-colored sweater, a long gray woolen trench coat and nude heels.
The Lizzy McGuire actress wore her blonde hair in loose, beachy waves.
My Little Sweet Boy is the follow-up to her book My Little Brave Girl, a book dedicated to her daughters Banks Violet, five, and Mae James, two, whom she shares with her husband Matthew Koma.

She also has a son Luca Cruz, 11, whom she shares with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.
“Writing a boys’ book after my girls’ book seemed like the natural thing to do, the natural step to take, and actually it was a bit backwards because I had my son first, he’s 11,” she said on Tuesday. on CBS mornings hosted by Gayle King, 68, Nate Burleson and Tony Dokoupi.
Hilary’s first book, My Little Brave Girl, was about her realization of the ways her daughter would need to be brave after her mother returned to work.
The How I Met Your Father star said: ‘My first book was about going back to work and leaving my four-month-old son for the first time, and I just realized how brave she must be because it was so hard for me , and I’m like, “She’s four months old and I’m all she knows.”
The author said writing her second book was a little more difficult.
“I felt like I went back so many years in remembering what my first experiences with motherhood and having this little boy were like,” she explained.
‘What was important for me to learn and teach him along the way, and my experience that he loved flowers and was very sensitive, and also loved breaking things.’
Publisher Penguin Random House described the picture book as “Inspiring young boys to be as gentle as they are strong.”

“I know in my journey with him, with guys, it’s like, ‘Come on, be tough, stand up, you know you’re okay, you’re okay,’” she explained on CBS Mornings.
Explaining why it’s important for boys to explore their feelings, she said: “He’s going to learn how to control himself when he’s older, but why are we suppressing that now?”
In an Instagram Story video shot in the green room, the Cheaper By the Dozen star said, “I hope this book resonates with you if you’re a boy mom.”
After her interview was over, Hilary signed copies of her new book for fans waiting outside the studio.
