When everything goes smoothly, it seems like a solid relationship is unbreakable, but the downside of a romantic partnership – where nothing seems to work between the two of you – can be a living nightmare.

Now a relationship expert has revealed the signs someone isn’t right for you, based on some key behavioral factors.

Matthew Hussey, 36, is known for his best-selling dating book Get The Guy: Learn Secrets of the Male Mind to Find the Man You Want and the Love You Deserve, which was released in 2013.

In a video on TikTok, he shared a major indicator that you may not be ready for a full-fledged relationship

In a clip posted to his account on the social media platform, he said: “If you’re at a stage in your life where you know you’re ready for something real and you’re excited about it (then maybe you’re ready for a relation’.

However, he added that if “you have someone in front of you judging whether a relationship is even exciting for him or her, why would you put yourself in that situation?”

The video, which has been viewed more than 185,000 times on TikTok, shows that many users agree with Mr Hussey’s statement about the potential pitfalls of entering a relationship.

One user commented: ‘The caption needs to be said out loud: this person IS NOT your person.’
