Terrifying moment female motorcyclist traveling 120mph crashes and survives with serious rash after car stops in front of her on Dallas freeway

A heartbreaking video captures the harrowing moment a female motorcyclist skidded across the road after speeding on a Dallas freeway.

Maddy Alivia, a 23-year-old from Dallas, Texas, filmed herself speeding down a dark Dallas highway at a dizzying speed of 130 mph, overtaking cars until a driver abruptly changed lanes.

The driver did not appear to notice Alivia running after their car and was sent into the left lane with her lights off.

As Alivia tried to avoid the vehicle, she flipped her bike and slid down her left side, exposing her skin to the harsh friction of the road through her already torn jeans.

After finally coming to a stop, she was able to get up, but heard crying and screaming.

“F**k me,” she said repeatedly. “My skin is burning.”

With her skin red and raw from road rash, the daring motorcyclist escaped with her life, with a broken phone and a damaged bike.

When emergency services arrived on the scene and asked: ‘how fast were you driving?’ she replies, “I don’t know.”

“You’re doing fine, OK,” someone from the Dallas Fire Department can be heard saying. “It could certainly be worse.”

Alivia is in tears and saw her legs shaking in the ambulance and later said she was driving ‘roughly’ at 70 miles per hour when she hit the car.

In the video, her motorcycle’s dashboard indicates she was traveling at least 125 mph before the car changed lanes.

Alivia shared the video on her social media, which garnered more than 1.5 million views and thousands of comments from social media users who expressed little sympathy.

‘I can’t say it often enough, but this doesn’t give me a bad feeling at all. Driving too fast in average traffic and not wearing better gear, especially around the legs and feet, you were kinda asking for this,” one person wrote.

Another said: ‘I’ve seen someone slide like that after an accident and he literally has no skin and muscle left on his calf, the only thing that remains intact under his leg is what’s in front of the bone, everything behind that is just gone .’

‘She’s lucky to be alive. Victims of motorcycle accidents at 160 km/h usually do not go to the hospital. They’re going to the morgue,” one person wrote.

Many angry social media users pointed out that Alivia is not wearing proper protective gear, and her Nike shoes are not strapped on.

A number of social media users came out to defend Alivia, saying the driver failed to signal the lane change and immediately fled the scene.

‘Did they change lanes unsafely? Yes. Was she driving 1.5 times the speed limit? Also yes. Neither side is innocent here, but Maddy defiantly drew the short straw,” one person wrote.

‘Regardless of her speed, they are both relatively negligent. However, under the circumstances, she can apply the last clear opportunity doctrine to compensate for her guilt and potentially change the outcome of the case,” another wrote.

“The only downside is that she couldn’t get the driver’s license plate number,” the social media user said.
