A teaser on Monday saw presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly working in a luxury jungle retreat, but ended as the launch date appeared on screen for the very first time.

Ant, 47, and December, 48, then shared a video on their social media announcing the launch date again as they hid behind some leafy plants.

Dec said: ‘Hello everyone. We come to you from a top secret jungle location with exciting news.”

Ant interjected, saying: “And the exciting news is, I’m a Celebrity is back!”

Dec asked: ‘When, when, when?’ to which Ant replied: ‘Sunday 19 November at 9pm.’

Dec added: ‘So join ITV1 and ITVX for the launch of the new series. See you then!’

The camera then cut to the duo climbing down a brick wall lined with trees, with Dec saying: ‘Right, I think they bought that’ and Ant adding: ‘Guess we got away with that, huh? Perfect.’

The confirmation of I’m A Celebrity’s start date comes as the jungle campmates began landing in Australia ahead of new series.

Frankie Dettori, 52, has been tipped to head into the jungle after retirement to challenge himself to some terrifying jungle challenges.

According to The Mirror, the jockey was spotted in Australia after landing in the country on Monday morning.

The day before, Frankie confirmed on social media that he would be boarding a flight to Melbourne from California.

He said, “Hello everyone, I’m currently here in California. I’m getting on a plane after racing, I’m coming to Melbourne for the Melbourne Cup.

Unfortunately I’m suspended this year so I can’t ride, but I’ll be supporting the Melbourne Cup carnival for a week, seeing some old friends ride and having a great time at the race. Hopefully we’ll see some good winners, so be sure to come along.”

The publication reports that Frankie will do “promotional work” in Melbourne before heading to Brisbane to “isolate for a few days.”

A spokesperson for ITV previously told MailOnline: ‘Any proposed names for I’m A Celebrity are speculation only.’

Frankie has reportedly told friends his biggest concern about starring in the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

The jockey has been tipped to head straight to Australia to eat some creepy crawlies and challenge himself in some terrifying jungle challenges after his retirement.

It has been reported that the sportsman is keen to star in the ITV show but is not as concerned about the bugs or trials as he is about his appearance.

Speaking to The Sun, a source revealed: ‘Frankie is excited about the jungle but is only worried about who will do his hair while he’s there!’

Meanwhile, Nigel Farage, 59, has confirmed he has been asked to take part in the big hit ITV show and admitted he was ‘tempted’ by the offer.

Speaking on GB News on Monday, the former politician admitted he has been considering the offer for the past 10 days and said he is still considering it.

Nigel, who previously told how he has been turning down requests since 2016, admitted it was an ‘unconventional’ thing for him to do.

“I have an existing Australian visa, so if I chose to holiday there I could do so without too much hassle,” he said.

‘I’ve been thinking hard about (the offer) for the past ten days. It’s a pretty big decision and quite unconventional for me to do.

‘There’s a large, young audience who don’t really have anyone to talk to them, it seems to me, about current affairs and politics in Britain.

“That’s what tempts me, but I haven’t signed a contract…yet.”

It comes after Nigel confirmed he is ‘in contractual discussions’ to appear on the show and is ‘seriously’ considering it.

“(I’m a celebrity) has offered me significant amounts of money for that. They have been on the phone again this year,” he told GB News last week.

“Unlike previous years, I am thinking about it very, very seriously.”

The Sun has claimed that former prime minister Liz Truss, who resigned last year, and her short-lived chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng are also in line for the jungle.

Other rumored contestants include This Morning star Josie Gibson and Love Island star Olivia Attwood, who took part last year but had to go home early.

Olivia, 32, was forced to withdraw after a routine blood test showed she had low sodium and potassium levels, while also flagging anemia.

There is also speculation that Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson could also be a campmate, after his partner Zara McDermott took part in the latest Strictly Come Dancing series.
