The Block: Leah and Ash’s home is expected to sell for $3.1 million

They had one of the most popular properties on The Block.

But Leah and Ash’s House 2 failed to go under the hammer at the renovation show’s finale on Sunday, raising $2.9 million.

And now the couple appears to have a buyer willing to spend $3.1 million on the sprawling five-bedroom, four-bathroom condo, leaving them with a profit of $130,000.

The Herald Sun reports that the Blockheads are expected to sell the house within 48 hours.

According to the report, estate agents are currently negotiating the sale, with a source telling the publication that buyers were ‘scared off’ by notorious high-profile block bidders Adrian ‘Mr Lambo’ Portelli and Danny Wallis.

Buxton Hampton East estate agent Noel Susay told the Herald Sun he expected to close the deal within the next “24 to 48 hours”.

He added: ‘They are buyers who were afraid to come to the show’s auctions because they thought they would be beaten by the big players Danny and Adrian.’

It comes after Leah and Ash’s House 2 caused a lot of excitement among potential bidders ahead of last week’s block auction.
