James Corden gets new US job after leaving The Late Late Show as he prepares to start ‘a new chapter’
James Corden has landed his first US job since quitting The Late Late Show in May after eight years as host.
The host, 45, is about to launch a new career in radio as the host of the SiriusXM show titled This Life of Mine.
The show takes full advantage of James’ long list of famous friends and promises in-depth conversations with ‘the biggest stars in the world’.
The weekly show, which starts next year, will take a look at all the life moments that have shaped the lives of its guests.

James returned the compliments, saying, “I’m thrilled to be joining SiriusXM. Scott and the whole team have made me feel so welcome as I start this new chapter.

Earlier this year, James quit his stint as host of The Late Late Show to spend more time with his wife Julia Carey and their three children.
The final episode aired in April 2023 and James subsequently moved back to London with Julia and their three children.
James told Drew Barrymore about his departure: “Look, it’s not easy by any means to walk away from something that’s like, I mean, I’ll never work in a better environment than the one I’m working in right now.
“Nothing about leaving the show had to do with not enjoying it. I love it.

“But the truth is, it became a very easy decision because I always knew it was an adventure and I never looked at it as the final destination.”
“But I will know in my core that the best thing for me and the best thing for us as a family is to put down some roots in London, and that feels absolutely right in every way.”
The TV personality and his wife want to make London their home again by building a new house on the plot of a 1960s property.
James and Julia have been given the green light to demolish an £8million property and replace it with a modern six-bedroom house complete with an outdoor pool, sauna and steam room.
